About ArcticSoakIndependent data publication
Purpose

A reference layer for cold-plunge decisions.

ArcticSoak exists to make energy use, climate load, ice requirements and sizing questions easier to calculate, inspect and cite.

What we publish

ArcticSoak publishes a versioned U.S. city dataset, three operating scenarios, state electricity context, formulas, static reference tables and an open validation protocol. Downloads are available as CSV and JSON under CC BY 4.0.

Independence and commerce

The index does not rank products, accept manufacturer performance claims as measured evidence or change results to favor a retailer. ArcticSoak maintains one clearly separated recommended-retailer resource. Commercial information is not used in the climate or cost calculations.

Evidence standard

Source status appears beside the output. A provisional seed is called provisional. A planning estimate is called an estimate. Measured validation will be labeled only after the protocol produces publishable observations.

How to evaluate the work

Start with the methodology, inspect the downloadable data, review the version history, and report problems through the corrections process.
